Četvrto izdanje Balkan.Perspectives podcast-a u produkciji forumZFD u BiH bavi se pitanjima suočavanja sa prošlošću i učešća mladih u tom procesu. PodCast realizujemo u saradnji sa kulturnim dodatkom KUN dnevnog lista Oslobođenje.
Đorđe Krajišnik u ovom izdanju razgovara sa aktivisticom Milicom Pralicom iz organizacije Oštra Nula iz Banja Luke i aktivistom Danielom Erorom iz organizacije Youth for Peace o trenutnom stanju suočavanja sa prošlošću i izgradje mira u BiH, ulozi mladih i na koji način oni mogu dati veći doprinos u tom procesu.

Balkan.Perspectives #3: Kosovo: EU Integration, State Building in Kosovo and Dealing with the Past

In the third edition of the "Balkan Perspectives” podcast, forumZFD Kosovo tackles the role of the EU integration, Dealing with the Past and state building in the Western Balkans.
In this edition, Labinot Greiçevci, professor and author of the book „The EU as a State-builder in International Affairs: The Case of Kosovo“, explains the role of the EU in the process of international state-building in Kosovo, shadowy perspective of integration and the effects of its initiative to develop transitional justice mechanisms. During the talk, Mr Greiçevci underlined that the EU should ask each government to set out how they plan to provide justice and restitution for past crimes.

Balkan.Perspectives #3: North Macedonia: New demands, New dispute

The 18th edition of the "Balkan Perspectives” podcast of forumZFD in North Macedonia tackles the role of the EU in integration and dealing with the past.
In this episode, the guest speaker Ognen Vangelov discusses the current dispute between Bulgaria and North Macedonia. In 2017, the Agreement between North Macedonia and Bulgaria was reached, unlocking the frozen relations between the countries. Initially it was success, but in 2019 the Bulgarian Government announced that they will block the further negotiations due to unresolved and unimplemented policies. Soon after, the dispute got other dimensions besides the historic; language, identity and the ethnic origin of the Macedonian population was disputed. Currently, the talks are in gridlock and no solution has been found. In this podcast you can hear more about the issue and the possible outcomes that can happen in the near future.

U trećoj epizodi podkasta Balkan.Perspectives govorimo o temi tranzicione pravde, ulozi i pristupu Evropske unije u ovom procesu na Zapadnom Balkanu, ali i o manama i neuspesima takvog pristupa, kao i o važnom mestu organizacija civilnog društva u ovom procesu od 2000-ih naovamo. U emisiji u produkciji Foruma ZFD i emisije Ženergija, govori Marijana Toma, istoričarka i stručnjakinja za tranzicionu pravdu i suočavanje s prošlošću, uz sagovornicu Anu Pejović i moderatorku Zoe Gudović.

Đorđe Krajišnik u ovom izdanju razgovara sa profesorom Nerzukom Ćurkom i pravnom eksperticom Lejlom Gačanicom o stanju procesa suočavanja s prošlošću i tranzicijske pravde u BiH i implikaciji trenutnog stanja na proces EU integracija sa fokusom na Bosnu i Hercegovinu i izazovima sa kojima se danas susreće naše društvo i institucije u ovim procesima.  

Balkan.Perspectives #2:North Macedonia: Urbanism without respect to the Past

In the second edition of the Balkan.Perspectives podcast in North Macedonia, we will discuss about the urbanism processes that are still happening in the capital Skopje. Many building, objects and archeological sites are left without any care, while the rapid urbanization of the city seems unstoppable.
Filip Koneski from MARH (Macedonian Architecture) reflects with Emilija Petreska from RadioMOF on the past and present urbanization of the city and how the city's developments took toll on the city's history and landmarks.    

Balkan.Perspectives #2: Kosovo: Public Space and Memorialisation Practice

The second edition of the Balkan Perspectives podcast of forumZFD in Kosovo tackles the context architecture, public spaces,and memorialization practices. In this edition Serbeze Haxhiaj discusses with Bekim Ramku. Bekim is architect, urban designer, and director of the Kosovo Architecture Festival.
In this conversation Bekim Ramku elaborates on the challenges of architecture,urban transformation, and city development in Kosovo in the aftermath of its violent past and how various periods and forms of commemoration are reflected in the silhouettes of Kosovo urban spaces. He points out that the most recent attempts to create spaces for memorialisation in public space in Kosovo is a continuation of architectural practices seen in previous decades and periods and thereby hinders the possibilities of new forms of commemoration. He emphasizes the need to prevent a planning vacuum currently prevailing in Kosovo cities and to establish a vision for the current transitional period and establish examples of collective memory throughout the country.
